Act ThreeChilly early-March air shuddered shallowly into my lungs, biting at my throat as it did my face, neck, eyes, and ears –anything that wasn’t covered protested the frigid, un-Florida-like temperature. I huddled on the freezing grass, mourning every time I blinked for the time it stole from the memory of the night, thanking them for letting me escape.Act Three
